CodeGreen, A Pinchin Company welcomes Diaz Architect & Associates PC, expanding Building Envelope expertise in New York and New Jersey.

Addition brings specialized architecture, restoration, preservation, forensic investigation, and FISP experience to CodeGreen’s Building Envelope practice

NEW YORK, October 6, 2026 – Pinchin announced that Diaz Architect & Associates PC (Diaz) has joined the organization, expanding Pinchin’s Building Envelope capabilities in New York and New Jersey.

Founded in 2005 and led by Dom Diaz, Diaz Architect & Associates, P.C. is a team of professionals specializing in the restoration and preservation of building envelopes. The firm supports clients through building condition assessments, forensic investigations, FISP reports, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration.

Diaz brings extensive experience evaluating building-material deterioration and developing restoration and renovation strategies responsive to a building’s construction, architectural character, and long-term needs. Its work spans historic buildings, contemporary façades, roofs, plazas, garages, sidewalks, and vaults.

“Diaz brings a highly complementary combination of architectural, forensic, restoration, and regulatory experience to our Building Envelope practice,” said Jeremy Schinasi, VP of Building Envelope and Corporate Development, Pinchin. “The team understands the complexities of existing buildings and the importance of developing solutions that address underlying conditions while respecting each structure’s performance and character. Together, we can bring clients deeper expertise and a more comprehensive approach to building performance—helping owners protect their assets, plan for long-term needs, and extend the life of their buildings, while drawing on the broader capabilities of the Pinchin platform.”

The addition of Diaz represents another step in Pinchin's continued investment in Building Envelope services. By bringing together Diaz's specialized restoration and preservation expertise with CodeGreen’s broader consulting capabilities, the combined team is better positioned to help clients address increasingly complex building performance, compliance, and rehabilitation challenges.

“For more than two decades, our work has been centered on understanding buildings, solving complex deterioration problems, and helping clients make sound decisions about their properties,” said Dom Diaz, President of Diaz Architects. “Bringing multiple disciplines together through one-stop coordination is a game changer for project management. Joining Pinchin creates a more seamless and efficient process, allowing projects to maintain tight schedules without compromising the quality of our work or services. By bringing the right professionals together and strengthening communication across disciplines, we can anticipate challenges, streamline coordination, and ultimately deliver greater value to our clients.”

The addition of Diaz strengthens Pinchin and CodeGreen’s ability to deliver integrated building envelope solutions throughout New York and New Jersey, combining specialized architectural expertise with multidisciplinary consulting services. Together, the expanded team will support clients through every stage of a building’s lifecycle.
